The Republic of Serbia, as a member of the International Labour Organization (ILO), every year participates in the ILO Conference, which is held at the organization's headquarters in Geneva in early June. The delegation participating in the work of the Conference is tripartite and consists of the representatives of the state, trade unions and employers. The platform for the participation of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia in the Conference is adopted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, after prior consultations with social partners. |

The Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia was accepted into the full membership of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions, AICESIS, at the General Assembly, which was held on 17 and 18 September 2018 in Paris. As pointed out in the letter sent to the General Secretariat of the Association with the application for membership, it is expected that the membership in the Association will strengthen international cooperation, which will help raise the social dialogue in the Republic of Serbia to a much higher level by exchanging experiences with similar national organizations.
At the General Assembly of the Association, held on 09 and 10 October 2019 in Bucharest, Miloš Nenezić, a member of the Social and Economic Council and President of the Serbian Association of Employers, was elected a member of the Board from Europe for a two-year term. |

On 09 December 2019, the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia and the Social Palace of the Russian Federation signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding and Cooperation in Moscow in order to improve relations between the parties on a mutually beneficial basis. The parties stated that they were making efforts to develop civil society institutions as important consultative mechanisms. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the processes and trends taking place in Serbia and Russia, the parties will cooperate closely and contribute to the strengthening of traditional relations of friendship, solidarity and mutual understanding between the peoples of Serbia and Russia, as well as cultural exchange, including popularization of Serbian and Russian languages. It is envisaged that the cooperation will be realized through mutual visits of delegations, round tables, seminars and conferences at the level of experts.
The memorandum was signed by the Secretary of the Social Palace of the Russian Federation, Mrs. Mikhejeva Lidija Jurjevna and the Chairman of the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia and the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, Mr. Zoran Djordjević

On 12 November 2018, the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia and the Economic and Social Council of Greece signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding and Cooperation in Athens in order to cooperate and provide mutual support in the areas of exchange of reports, opinions, publications and texts, topics and issues of common interest, preparation of studies and reports related to the topics of common interest, mutual visits of members and bodies of the two councils, based on a predetermined and jointly agreed programme, organization of events, study visits, seminars, as well as other activities related to the topics of mutual interest of the two councils.
For the Economic and Social Council of Greece, the memorandum was signed by the President, Mr. Georgios Vernikos, and the Secretary General, Mr. Apostolos Xirafis, while for the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia it was signed by the Chairman, Mr. Miloš Nenezić.

The Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia and the Social Council of Montenegro signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in Podgorica on 28 October 2011 with the aim of exchanging quality knowledge, solutions and experiences, experts and good practice in the field of social dialogue, collective bargaining, employment social and economic policies, cooperation and the exchange of experiences based on membership in international organizations and participation in international conferences and seminars, cooperation and exchange of experience between working bodies, exchange of relevant documents, information and initiatives, cooperation and participation in projects.
The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Ljubisav Orbović, and the Chairman of the Social Council of Montenegro, Mr. Suad Numanović.

On 08 July 2011, the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia and the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Srpska signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding and Cooperation in Belgrade with the aim of establishing a framework and facilitating cooperation between the signatories in the areas of common interest: the exchange of expert knowledge, solutions, experiences and experts in the field of social dialogue, collective bargaining, employment, social and economic policy and other areas within the competence, cooperation and exchange of experiences based on membership in international organizations and participation in international conferences, seminars and the like, cooperation and exchange of experiences bodies, exchange of relevant documents, information and initiatives.
The memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia, Ljubisav Orbović, and the Chairperson of the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Srpska, Ranka Mišić.
