The members of the Permanent Working Body for Occupational Health and Safety elected Mira Božić, a member of the PWB from the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, as the President of the PWB for the mandate period of December 24, 2023 - December 23, 2024.

It was proposed to the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia to give a positive opinion on:

Proposal for a strategy for safety and health at work in the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2023 to 2027 with an Action Plan for its implementation.

Proposal for a regulation on amendments to the Regulation on occupational safety and health at temporary or mobile construction sites

Proposal for a rulebook on the manner of issuing, renewing or revoking licenses for performing work in the field of occupational safety and health.

Proposal of the rulebook on the content of the study on the arrangement of construction sites and work sites.

Proposal for a rulebook on the program and method of passing a professional exam for the performance of occupational safety and health duties and the duties of a responsible person.

Proposal for the rulebook on amendments and additions to the Rulebook on the procedure for inspecting and checking work equipment and testing working environment conditions.

Proposal for a rulebook on the manner and procedure of risk assessment at the workplace and in the working environment.

Proposal for a rulebook on the content and appearance of the work prohibition sign on temporary or mobile construction sites.

Proposal for the rulebook on the appearance of the badge and corresponding types of clothing, footwear and equipment of labor inspectors.

Members of the Permanent Working Bodies from the Serbian Association of employers and the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs give their consent to the proposed text of the Draft Law on Occupational Safety and Health.

Members of permanent working bodies from the Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Serbia and Trade Union Confederation "Nezavisnost" give their consent in principle to the proposed text of the Draft Law on Occupational Safety and Health.

The members of the permanent working bodies in front of the Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Serbia and Trade Union Confederation "Nezavisnost" give individual remarks that are included in the appendix to this conclusion and form an integral part of it. The aforementioned remarks were made during the work of the working group for drafting the Draft Law and conducting a public hearing on the proposed Draft.

The members of the PWB from Trade Union Confederation "Nezavisnost" emphasize the necessity for the Occupational Safety and Health Committee to be formed in business entities that have more than 50 employees, as well as the mandatory introduction of Occupational Safety and Health Coordinators who would be appointed by representative social partners.

A proposal was made to the Social and Economic Council to give a positive opinion on the Proposed Rulebook on the procedure for inspecting and checking work equipment and examining working environment conditions.

Saša Torlaković, a member of the PBW from the Confederation of Autonomous Trade Unions of Serbia, was unanimously elected President of PWB for the period December 24, 2021 to December 23, 2022.

It was proposed to the Social and Economic Council of the Republic of Serbia to give a positive opinion on the Proposal for the Regulation amending Regulation on Preventive Measures for Safe and Healthy Work in Underground and Surface Exploitation of Mineral Raw Materials.
